The energy outlook across Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico continues to strengthen as drilling activity accelerates and LNG-driven demand fuels growth across key basins.

The Haynesville is gaining renewed momentum, with Enverus Oilfield Pulse reporting rig activity up 52% year-over-year as operators respond to rising Gulf Coast LNG demand. Aliign is also seeing that momentum play out locally through increased activity and continued interest across the markets we serve.

In Louisiana, ongoing LNG expansion projects are creating strong demand for natural gas, while operators continue building inventories that support future production growth. With major LNG projects underway along the Gulf Coast, Aliign remains optimistic about continued natural gas demand.

Texas is seeing improving market fundamentals, with frac fleets returning to work, additional rigs expected before year-end, and Eagle Ford activity up 35% from last year. Growing LNG and power-generation investments are also driving increased demand for compression and related services.

Meanwhile, New Mexico’s Delaware Basin remains the most active drilling region in the United States, supported by efficient operations and tight service markets.

Bottom Line: The combination of accelerating Haynesville development, expanding LNG infrastructure, and continued Permian growth paints an increasingly optimistic picture for mineral owners, royalty interest holders, and the broader energy industry.
